NOTE: Beginning 09/01/06, only clients who have renewed their support will have access to updates past 4.07!

This will update your CMTS software to version 4.07 (release date 05-26-06)

(You must already have version 4.00 to install this update  If you have a version number less than 4.00, please contact SourcePro Software before you update your software.  Attempting to update versions prior to 4.00 could cause your application to run incorrectly or you could possibly even lose data!)

We recommend that you make a backup copy of your C:\Program Files\CMTS\Data folder PRIOR to updating.   If you have already version 4.01 or higher, you can just do an archive instead. (After you install the update, if you are asked to insert the Installation CD, DON'T! Call SourcePro immediately)

This update addresses the following items:
  • ALL previous fixes through version 4.06 (which included: Modified Date Range Status report to allow printing each student on a separate page, Logon program attempts to automatically fix error 2005, updated the help file, modified logon program to allow adding/editing students without leaving logon program, new Overall Statistics report, all reports now have the date/time printed at the bottom of the page, the manual time entry interface has been modified, a new "browse" feature has been added to the student screen, the archive function has been completely revised, and you can now "label" the user flags.)
  • Modified the Master Student Listing so that users can group by grade, group by teacher or select no grouping (and the report will be generated in alphabetical order only).
  • Created a new option for replacing a teacher (transferring all students from one teacher to another)
  • Fixed bug with force logoff option (while viewing a student)
  • Modified the Daily Log to allow users to group by grade, teacher, or select no grouping (and the report will be generated in alphabetical order only)
  • Created a new Nine Week Breakout report.  This report will show the number of minutes per week (within a given nine week timeframe) as well as total minutes, avg length of visits, avg minutes per week, etc.  To run this report, you'll first need to setup (week by week) the nine week schedule for your district.
  • Please check the help file (which has also been updated) for details on all new and modified features

If you are downloading this update from a computer other than the one that the CMTS is installed on, you'll need to save the update(s) to the Windows Desktop of the computer you are currently using, then copy it to a floppy after it is downloaded.  Then copy the file(s) from the floppy disk to the CMTS computer's Windows desktop.  (That way you can follow the instructions below exactly.)

  • Make sure the CMTS software is NOT be running.
  • Download the update above and save to your Windows desktop
  • Run the update that you downloaded and saved to your desktop by double-clicking it. and this screen appears:

  • DO NOT change the "Unzip to folder"  Leave it as it is (it may not be the same as shown in the picture above)
  • Click the Unzip button.  The update files will be extracted and a message telling you how many files were successfully unzipped will appear.  Click Ok and then click Close (to close the WinZip screen)
