What is the Content Mastery Tracking System?
CMTS is an web-based application designed for assisting professional educators in tracking and reporting on the progress of students assigned to the Content Mastery lab, Speech Therapist office, and/or behavior labs (and more).
 How does the CMTS work?
There are actually two programs that make up CMTS. One is the Logon/Logoff program and the other is the Administrative program. Students logon (by clicking the green traffic light) and then selecting their name and subject OR logoff (by clicking the red traffic light) and then selecting their name. (The students may type their name in, use the keyboard to navigate to their name, or use the mouse to scroll down to their name.) The total amount of time spent by each student in each subject is logged into the main data file. Teachers may then query this datafile using a "query by example" style form, allowing them to extract any combination of data they choose for on screen or hardcopy reports.
Is the program easy enough for students to use by themselves?
Certainly! One of the advantages to using CMTS is that students are able to "log on" and "log off" on their own. Using large graphical images assists even the earliest grade level students in accomplishing this.
What are the system requirements for running the software?
An active internet connection and Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher (as well as Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free program, for viewing reports.)
